FREE Music workshop in Bury St. Edmunds
The Befriending Scheme, who work with vulnerable people aged over 16 are holding a special FREE music workshop at the Quaker Friends House in Bury St. Edmunds on Tuesday 7th February between 10:00am and 2:00pm for people aged between 16 and 24 with additional needs.
This is your chance to really let loose and make some music!! We will use percussion instruments, including snare drums, toms, symbols, tambourines, bells and agogos!!
It will be a great opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills and have fun!
There is a chance you could be on TV!!
Previously the group have held a song writing project and this event is a step towards rolling it out across the county.
Hannah Seymour, Operations Manager of The Befriending Scheme explained “This is a great opportunity to do something unique, special and memorable for young, vulnerable people. We want as many vulnerable young people as possible to come, to not only help build their confidence but also help us build our music projects”
