The Befriending Scheme delivers a varied programme of Life Skills Training to our members.The Life Skills programme is aimed at supporting our members to develop independent living skills as well as how to deal with challenging situations such as mate crime and bullying.
The Befriending Scheme would like to express their gratitude to Realise Futures and The St Edmunds Trust who kindly provided funding to enable us to deliver our Life Skills training.
We are also delighted to be awarded the Silver Standard Quality Mark in June 2016 by Realise Futures for the successful Life Skills Training delivered this year.
We have also been involved in projects in the community working in collaboration with Scottish Power to generate an awareness of fuel poverty and support vulnerable people through the Suffolk Switched
On project to develop the skills and confidence to manage their own fuel consumption and avoid fuel debt.
