Exciting Funding News!!!
We are thrilled to tell you that we have received National Lottery funding from The National Lottery Community Fund to help fund our One to One Befriending service across Suffolk.
Our One to One service is designed for adults with additional needs, to be matched with a volunteer befriender.
Members build confidence and new skills, form a meaningful friendship with a committed befriender, and become more engaged in their local community.
A HUGE THANK YOU to the The National Lottery Community Fund and all of the National Lottery players.
Our vision at The Befriending Scheme, is a world where people are valued equally, listened to and included in all that life has to offer.
Our challenge is to make this a reality.
Vital funding like this from the #nationallottery, means that we can continue to do what we at The Befriending Scheme set out to do, bring people together.
