On Monday the 18th May 2020, Vikki and Cat from the staff team completed a 10 mile (social distanced) walk around the beautiful Sudbury, Long Melford, Acton and Great Waldingfield countryside. The weather was perfect and the scenery was stunning.
Originally, it had been planned that 10 of the staff team would partake in the long distance walk but as a result of government guidelines this was unfortunately not possible. Nevertheless, Cat and Vikki took up the challenge themselves and completed the walk in under 3.5 hours!
Why did they do this, you ask?
To raise much needed funds to be able to continue delivering our services, providing vulnerable adults with opportunities to make friends and socialise. In addition, it would be amazing if enough money could be raised to pay for all of our members across Suffolk to visit the care farm in Assington, ( www.facebook.com/fcfassington ) as soon as it opens.
If you can spare a pound or two, we would be very grateful.
